KERRI CHANDLER

Deep house pioneer Kerri Chandler was only 13 when he began warming up New Jersey’s dancefloors for his DJ father. Growing up in a family of jazz musicians, he soon began producing his own flavour of house music, with cuts and remixes such as ‘Atmosphere’ and ‘You’re in My System’ full of soulful grooves. He regularly plays at Ibiza’s DC10 and London’s KOKO as a resident DJ, and has welcomed the likes of Moodymann, Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers to Kaoz Theory, his own label and club night.

Il pioniere della deep house Kerri Chandler aveva solo 13 anni quando iniziò a scaldare le piste da ballo del New Jersey per conto del padre DJ. Cresciuto in una famiglia di musicisti jazz, ha presto iniziato a produrre il proprio “sapore” di musica house, con brani e remix come “Atmosphere” e “You’re in My System” pieni di groove soul. Suona regolarmente al DC10 di Ibiza e al KOKO di Londra come resident DJ e ha accolto artisti del calibro di Moodymann, Seth Troxler e The Martinez Brothers al Kaoz Theory, la sua etichetta e club night.
