With more than 900 million streams, multiple Gold & Platinum awards and his unique fashion style HUGEL has made a name for himself as one of the rare DJs who are able to produce banging club hits which are still playable on the radio.

His recent hit “Morenita” is the best example: hitting #1 in the Beatport House charts the track got strong support by major players like Diplo, FISHER, Carnage, Vintage Culture or John Summit. The track is a must-play in DJ sets all around the world from Tulum to Mykonos, from Miami to St. Tropez and get massive radio airplay in Italy and Spain. His follow up singles “La Candela Viva” and “El Sueno” keep up his infectious Latin House style.

HUGEL grew up in Marseille where he earned first experiences as DJs in clubs in St. Tropez, Cannes and Monaco. The biggest influence of his productions is the Latin culture which he soaked up during the time living in Ibiza. With hits like “Bella Ciao” (official Summer Hit 2018 in Germany) or “WTF” in the back he held residencies at famous balearic clubs like Pacha or Ushuaia. 

Today, HUGEL boasts an impressive following with over 6.7 million monthly listeners and 350k followers across social platforms. He is signed by Warner Music and represented by Stefan Dabruck Management among other international top talents like Robin Schulz or Felix Jaehn. 

From small underground clubs in Detroit to playing the main stages at festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Parookaville, World Club Dome, Mysteryland or Hangout Music Festival – HUGEL has proven that he feels comfortable on any stage living up to his tagline: “make the girls dance!” With North American tours spanning across legendary venues like Eleven (Miami), Lavo (NYC), Prysm (Chicago), Temple (San Francisco) and New City Gass (Montreal) he has earned a place as a globally respected artist.

In autumn 2021 HUGEL made his debut on one of the most famous House labels of all times, UK based Defected Records with his track “Eyes on You” being released on D4 D4NCE. In 2022 this will be followed up by more burning club releases on respected House labels like Toolroom, Insomniac or Repopulate Mars.
